Founders Theatre
The Founders Theatre is Hamilton's largest and best known theatrical venue with a capacity of 1,250. Opened in 1960, the Founders is one of the best-known and most successful venues in New Zealand. Located on the triangular corner of Tristram Street and Norton Road, the Founders hosts a wide range of entertainment each year ranging from rock to symphony, country to comedy and ballads to ballet. In attractive park-like surroundings, and with full catering services, the Founders also houses a Rehearsal Room and excellent backstage facilities.

Clarence St Theatre
The Clarence St Theatre is distinguished by it's Mondrian-esque exterior, its recently refurbished auditorium and foyer and by its ability to transform from an outstanding drama theatre with a capacity of 550, to 'showroom mode' with table seating and a capacity of about 300. It is well equipped and has full catering facilities. This venue hosts countless drama, comedy and smaller concert events, and is ideal for corporate events, social functions and business theatre. There is also a Dance Studio / Rehearsal Room onsite.

The Meteor |
The Meteor
The Meteor is located at 1 Victoria Street and is one of New Zealand's leading black box venues with a capacity of about 200. The building has been home to a soft drink factory, a skating rink and now hosts some of the best leading edge performing arts events in New Zealand, with a Creative Industries Incubator opening later this year. The Meteor also has foyer and exhibition spaces that can be dressed in a myriad of ways, making it ideal for small exhibitions, meetings and social and business functions.
