For Youth Involvement - F.Y.I.

Hamilton Youth Council is hosting a forum FYI (For Youth Involvement) on Wednesday, 20 June at the Wintec Gallagher Hub.

FYI has been sponsored by the Ministry of Youth Development and also forms part of the events taking place for New Zealand Leadership Week.

FYI aims to encourage and promote youth leadership within the community and encourage young people to have a voice in the development of their city.

A number of things are planned for the day, including a presentation from Natalie Mediema, this year's Sir Peter Blake Antarctic Youth Ambassador, workshops, panel discussions and a 'great debate'

Htwnyouth Website

Blasting it's way onto the vibrant youth scene of Hamilton, this site is set to bring together social networking, current events, blogs, discussions and much more.  Htwnyouth is for youth aged between 12-18 in Hamilton!

Youth Council have played a big part in creating and developing this website to keep young people connected with events that are happening around the city.
