The Neighbourhood Development Team consists of four full-time Neighbourhood Advisor's who are based in in the East, West, North and South areas of the city, and a Team Leader based centrally at Council's offices in Garden Place. |

What do we do?
Most importantly, we encourage and participate in collaborations between community, service provides and government agencies to improve well-being in our city.

We provide:
- Advice and information on Council Policy, Strategy and submission issues and priority needs in local neighbourhoods
- A link between Council and community to identify current issues and priority needs in local neighbourhoods
- Support for community initiatives through helping your source funding and promote your events/activities
- Links to service providers and agencies that can assist you if we can't
- Assistance in running events or activities that target the wider community
- Open and transparent consultation on issues that effect you.
We are guided by the Hamilton Social Well-Being Strategy's five priority areas:
