 Older persons   Hamilton City Council has developed an Older Persons Policy, which addresses the current and future needs of an ageing population. The purpose of this policy is to provide a framework to achieve the vision for Hamilton as a city that values people of all ages. The principles of the Treaty of Waitangi and the New Zealand Positive Ageing Strategy, both underpin this policy. An Action Plan supports this policy, detailing the ways in which the Council will achieve the objectives outlined in the policy. |
