Waste minimisation

Waste logo

We tend to take the disposal of our household rubbish for granted. We rest comfortable in the knowledge it will be taken away for us. Although we pay for the collection and disposal of our rubbish, how many of us have asked the question, what is the impact of our throw away mentality on the land, water and air that we rely on?

This page provides an overview of how our current lifestyle creates a large amount of waste and how our current means of disposing of this waste are not sustainable. If we continue to create waste at the current rate, we will degrade our environment and our quality of life will be affected.

Waste Booklet
