Council committees and meetings

Council has five standing committees and a number of subcommittees and working parties to set policy and guide Council in the fulfilment of its responsibilities.

Council and its standing committees mostly meet on a six-weekly cycle. Each standing committee meets in the fortnight prior to the full Council meeting. Meetings are publicly notified. The dates and times for all meetings are advertised in the Waikato Times and are also online at Council and committee meeting schedule for 2010 .
