Hamilton City Council maintains a range of small grant options to support not-for-profit community groups and organisations providing services that benefit Hamilton residents. These include School Holiday Programme grants, After School Programme grants, and the annual Community Well-Being Grants funding round.
In addition, a funding book is published annually, containing information about most funders in Hamilton and the Waikato area.

Hamilton City Council Wellbeing Grant is now closed. Grant for 2011 will open mid February 2011, closing date will remain 31 March (OR the last working day for March).

Maori and Pacific Project Fund (MPPF) 2010
The purpose of the Maori and Pacific Project Fund is to support the charitable, cultural, philanthropic, or other projects which strengthen the well-being of Maori and Pacific Island People living in Kirikiriroa. Applications must support one of the following five guiding principals taken from the Hamilton Social Wellbeing Strategy.
