Community funding

Hamilton City Council maintains a range of small grant options to support not-for-profit community groups and organisations providing services that benefit Hamilton residents. These include School Holiday Programme grants, After School Programme grants, and the annual Community Well-Being Grants funding round.

In addition, a funding book is published annually, containing information about most funders in Hamilton and the Waikato area.

Community Wellbeing Grant 2010

Hamilton City Council Wellbeing Grant is open now.  Applications close 31st March 2010.  Please feel free to download our application form and other information provided below.  If you require a physical copy, please request through Community Development on 07 838 6623.

Maori and Pacific Project Fund (MPPF) 2010

The purpose of the Maori and Pacific Project Fund is to support the charitable, cultural, philanthropic, or other projects which strengthen the well-being of Maori and Pacific Island People living in Kirikiriroa.  Applications must support one of the following five guiding principals taken from the Hamilton Social Wellbeing Strategy.

This funding closes on 31st March 2010.

2010 Funding Book

The 2010 Funding Book is now available and  can be purchased for $10 from the cashiers on the ground floor of Hamilton City Council in Garden Place. Alternatively you can download the order form below and mail payment by post.
