Useful tips


Handy hint #1

Your CV is the tool that promotes your skills and experience to the prospective employer when you apply for positions, so it's important to make sure your CV is up to date and accurate, and has been checked for spelling, grammar and formatting errors.  It's also useful to put a cover letter together that outlines your reasons for applying for the position - it's helpful for the recruiting manager to know what it is that interested you in the role.  Here are some tips to help you.

Handy hint #2

Remember to keep your details current.

If your registration has no activity within a 12 month period, your records will be deleted from our database. So, if you are still keen to join our team, it pays to update your CV with your latest work experience regularly and don't forget to keep your contact details up to date so we can stay in touch with you.

Handy hint #3

Once you are registered, you can set up Job Alerts and be notified by email of positions that you are interested in as we post them?

  • Simply log into to our Career Centre and scroll to the bottom of the vacancy list.
  • Select the categories you are interested in hearing from us on.
  • You can stop receiving Job Alerts emails at any time, just click on the "Stop sending me emails" link.
