 New V8 faces for 2011 event

V8 Supercars Australia will run Hamilton’s ITM400 from 2011 and has appointed a new team that is already working on the upcoming street race event. Acting events manager Greg Mosen has valuable experience working on previous V8 events. Mr Mosen has already met with Hamilton City Council staff and Frankton businesses to build relationships, and planning is already well underway for Hamilton’s fourth street race. A number of new features to broaden the appeal of the event from 2011 include the unique “rock and race” format  which will see concerts held in conjunction with the racing.

Frankton in right in the heart of the ITM400 Hamilton circuit race precinct. The Frankton Community Liaison Group helps coordinate special deals, events and feedback from Frankton related to improving the event.
