Envirofund logo

Envirofund was established by Hamilton City Council to assist individuals, groups and community agencies to fund projects and initiatives, generally outside Council's core responsibilities, which encourage sound environmental improvement in Hamilton and contribute to the sustainability of the city. Applications close on March 31st every year.

Every September 22, people from around the world travel by foot, bike, bus and even skateboards to remind the world that we don't have to accept our car-dominated society.

Smart Water Use

Smart Water Use is a region-wide campaign which aims to strengthen people's perceptions of water as being a limited and precious resource, and educate and encourage residents to conserve water in their day-to-day lives.
