Contractor Health and Safety Manual

We take health and safety in our workplace very seriously and want to ensure contractors who work with us do as well.

We have a Contractor Health and Safety Manual which specifies to contractors and sub-contractors what they must comply with, or do better than the requirements in the manual, while carrying out work for Hamilton City Council at our sites and facilities.

Audits will be carried out on a routine basis by Council staff to ensure compliance with our requirements.

Contractor induction sessions

All Hamilton City Council contractors are required to attend an annual induction held during May/June.  Attendance of the induction session will ensure eligibility to continue to provide services to Council.
